Herculaneum Fire Department 75th Anniversary Water Parade

Celebrate 75 years of service with the Herculaneum Fire Department at one of the most unique and exciting community events of the summer! The Herculaneum Fire Department is inviting residents, businesses, community groups, and fire departments from across the region to participate in a fun-filled Water Parade through the heart of Herculaneum.

Join the parade, grab a water blaster, enjoy local food vendors, and help us celebrate a milestone anniversary for a department that has proudly served our community since 1951.

Water Parade Guidelines

Bring water guns and containers for water.
Water refill stations will be available before the parade begins.
No water balloons permitted.
Help us celebrate safely while enjoying a refreshing afternoon of family fun.

As shown in the event flyer, participants and spectators are encouraged to enjoy the parade while getting soaked along the route. The event route begins at Taylor Early Childhood Center and concludes at William C. Haggard Park.

Register Your Parade Entry

The Herculaneum Fire Department welcomes all types of parade participants, including:

  • Fire Departments & Emergency Apparatus
  • Businesses & Event Sponsors
  • Community Organizations
  • School & Youth Groups
  • Walking Groups
  • Specialty Vehicles
  • Other Community Entries

The official parade entry form allows participants to register a group, vehicle, float, walking unit, or organization. Entries can indicate whether they will use squirt guns, water tanks, hose systems, or participate without water activities. Water Parade Entry Form

Parade Safety Requirements

To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, parade participants must follow all Water Parade rules, including:

  • Use only clean tap water
  • No additives, dyes, or ice water
  • Do not spray water directly at faces at close range
  • No alcohol permitted
  • No throwing objects from moving vehicles

Become a Food Vendor

Food vendors are invited to join the celebration at William C. Haggard Park following the parade. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business while serving hundreds of attendees throughout the afternoon.

Vendor applications include:

  • Food Trucks
  • Food Trailers
  • Snack Vendors
  • Beverage Vendors
  • Dessert Vendors
  • Specialty Food Businesses

Vendor setup options include 10′ x 10′, 10′ x 20′, or custom space requirements. Electricity needs and generator requirements can also be requested on the application.
