Answer: Call the Building Inspector Department and set up an Occupancy Inspection. This $15.00 fee will have to be prepaid and they need at least a 24 hr. notice to arrange this for you. Most title companies will not close without this. When closing information has been arranged you as well as the new buyer will also need to contact the Water Department at (636) 479-3777. The seller will have to have the final water reading done. The buyer will have to come and fill out paper work for a New Water Application and pay a meter deposit of $50.00 before water service can be continued at their new address. At this time the Water Clerk will inform them that a Toter (trash can) will be provided for them at their new residence. If they wish to do recycling a container will be provided for that also. Their water, sewer and trash are all on one bill and due by the 20th of each month.
