TRANSFER OF HERCULANEUM MUNICIPAL COURT TO THE ASSOCIATE CIRCUIT COURT
Please be advised that the Herculaneum Municipal Court has been ordered to be transferred to the Associate Circuit Court of the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit. All future dockets will be conducted at the Jefferson County Courthouse located at 300 South Main Street, Hillsboro, MO 63050. All defendants are encouraged to check the status of any pending case by using the court’s website at:
https://www.courts.mo.gov/cnet/welcome.do
During this transition there will be limited court clerk availability. In order to facilitate an effective transfer of records to the Associate Circuit Court, no payment of fines and/or court costs will be accepted at Herculaneum City Hall after December 16, 2024. All future payments will be processed through the Jefferson County Circuit Court after the transfer has been completed. It is expected that payments will not be able to be accepted between December 15, 2024 and January 15, 2025.
No warrants will be issued for defendants in any Herculaneum Municipal Court cases during this transition period.
Notice to Attorneys from Herculaneum Municipal Prosecuting Attorney:
The Prosecuting Attorney of Herculaneum has revoked all previously issued recommendations for disposition. The court costs and payment information for resolving pending cases is not correctly reflected on any prior recommendations due to this transfer. New recommendations for the disposition of pending cases will be issued upon request after January 2, 2025. If you represent defendants with matters pending, please request a new recommendation with the correct court costs and payment information.
