Great news — the city’s boil water advisory has been lifted! Water service has been fully restored, and all required test results have come back clean.

Below are tips that can be taken but make sure to follow manufacturer’s instructions. To ensure your water systems are safe and functioning properly, please follow these important steps:

Water Softeners

  • Manually regenerate your system or follow your manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Flush the system by running cold water through a faucet for several minutes.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems

  • Replace filters and sanitize the system if recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Flush the RO system thoroughly before use.

Refrigerator Ice Makers & Water Dispensers

  • Discard old ice and run at least one full cycle of fresh ice.
  • Flush water dispensers for several minutes.

Dishwashers & Washing Machines

  • Run an empty cycle with hot water to clear any residual contaminants.
