Candace Siebert, CPSI, AFO, PMT

“Candace Siebert is the Park Superintendent for the City of Herculaneum and the first employee fully dedicated to its park system. In this role, she works closely with the Public Works Department to maintain and improve Herculaneum’s parks, ensuring they remain safe, accessible, and welcoming for the community. She oversees the daily operations of park facilities, coordinates events, and cares for key amenities like Kade’s Playground and All Bark Village.
 
Candace is highly trained in park safety, maintenance, and environmental stewardship. As a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) and Playground Maintenance Technician, she ensures that play spaces meet the highest safety standards. Her Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) and NRPA Splash Pad Certification allow her to oversee water-based amenities with expertise, while her CPR, Wilderness First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen training reinforce her commitment to public safety. Additionally, as an Advanced Master Gardener through the University of Missouri Extension, she applies her knowledge of native plants and sustainable landscaping to enhance the natural beauty of Herculaneum’s parks.
 
Candace is passionate about creating and maintaining outdoor spaces where residents and visitors can connect with nature, play, and gather as a community. Her dedication to environmental sustainability, safety, and long-term park improvements helps ensure that Herculaneum’s parks continue to thrive for years to come.”
