On Wednesday, July 10th, our officers responded to a neighborhood pool in reference to a potential drowning victim.
Officer Wright of the Herculaneum Police Department was first to respond. It is reported that three young Herculaneum residents performed heroic, life-saving actions prior to the arrival of first responders. The victim, a minor, was resuscitated and transferred to a local hospital and has since been released.
“I am so very proud of these three young ladies for their amazing efforts. I am also proud of Officer Wright and all others that were involved at the scene.
We will be formally recognizing these heroes at our August 19th, 2024 Board of Aldermen Meeting.”
