Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet several requirements to be considered for employment.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Missouri driver’s license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- No felony convictions or crimes involving moral turpitude
- Missouri Firefighter I & II Certification
- HAZMAT Awareness & Operations Certification
- Current Missouri EMT-B or EMT-P License
- Missouri Fire Officer I Certification
- Missouri Instructor I Certification
Preferred qualifications include Fire Officer II and 1403 Live Fire Instructor certifications.

Compensation
The starting salary for the Captain position is approximately $63,000 annually, including scheduled overtime.
